The proportion of fragrance concentrate in a finished perfume product.
Also known as: fragrance concentration, perfume concentration
The names eau de toilette, eau de parfum and extrait are used for different product formats and concentration conventions. Houses may also change the composition between versions. Compare the actual products, rather than assuming the same formula has only been diluted differently.
Higher concentration does not by itself guarantee greater projection, longer wear, better quality or a closer match to your taste.
Explain concentration labels without converting Noteboxd’s free-form concentration field into a new restrictive enum.
