Sumud by Ateneo dell'Olfatto is a Oriental Spicy fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Sumud was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Fabio Bernardi. Top notes are Rose Petals and Coffee; middle notes are Vanilla, Spices and Amber; base notes are Resins, Musk and Woodsy Notes. Sumud is a perfume born from an Arabic word dense with meaning: sumud, "steadfastness," "patient resistance." It tells of the strength of roots, the silent dignity of those who remain, the discreet sweetness of daily care. It opens with the delicacy of rose petals and the warmth of brewing coffee, an intimate introduction that evokes home, welcome, and memory. At the heart, the fragrance deepens: amber, spices, and vanilla express warmth and emotional depth, like an embrace that consoles and sustains. The base, made of woods, resins, and musk, leaves a persistent and golden trail, a symbol of continuity, rootedness, and hope. Sumud does not tell of Palestine through stereotypes: it returns its essence, made of dignity, resilience, and shared humanity. A perfume that embraces and accompanies, that speaks of gentle resistance. Created for Voci per Gaza 2025, a charitable event promoted by EducAid in support of the Palestinian population.
