Shared character
Both fragrances are built around the same core palette of sandalwood, amber, leather, cardamom, tonka bean and thyme. They therefore share a warm, slightly spicy, and slightly leathery foundation.
How they differ
Hero and Chrome share the same six base notes – sandalwood, amber, leather, cardamom, tonka bean and thyme – but Hero adds a large group of additional ingredients (bergamot, grapefruit, vetiver, benzoin, mandarin, pink pepper, clary sage, cinnamon, lavender, other citruses and violet). Chrome does not introduce any new notes beyond the shared set. Instead, Chrome distinguishes itself through two exclusive accords: an ambery (oriental) character and a woody character. Hero has no unique accords, and the two scents belong to different fragrance families (none are shared).
Who each suits
Hero will appeal to wearers who enjoy a richer, more layered scent that blends citrus, spice, herbal and floral touches with its base. Chrome is suited to those who prefer a cleaner focus on amber‑oriental and woody nuances, relying on the shared warm base without the extra citrus‑spice‑floral complexity.
